The MLS

The MLS connection reads listings through the RESO Web API using a token issued by the brokerage. It is the source of truth for what is on the market.

Read-only by design

The connection can read listings. It cannot create, edit or delete one, and the app never scrapes the MLS website. Any change to a listing — price, status, photos, remarks — happens in the MLS itself.

Never paste a listing into Kroll Assistant and never ask the workspace to publish one. Listing entry stays in the MLS.

Connect with a token

Have the token ready

The brokerage (The MLS / CLAW) issues the access token to the account holder. Treat it like a password: do not send it by email or chat.

Select Connect, then paste the token

On The MLS card, select Connect. Paste the token into Access token and select Connect again. The app verifies it against the listing feed before it saves anything.

Confirm the card

A verified token turns the card Connected with the feed description. A rejected token leaves the dialog open and explains why, so you can correct it without losing your place.

Sync

Select Sync now to read one record from the feed and record the time. This is the check that proves the token still works.

Requesting access

If you do not hold a token yet, select Request access instead in the dialog. The request dialog explains what will happen:

  1. The request goes to the workspace administrator.
  2. The Agency approves the feed and issues the token.
  3. You paste the token into the same dialog.

Select Send request. The card then shows Requested until the token is issued.

Managing the feed

Manage on a connected MLS card shows the feed and the account it belongs to. The only action is Disconnect, which removes the stored token.

What good looks like

  • Status Connected, with the feed named on the card.
  • Last sync is recent and the sync read one record without an error.
  • Pipeline rows match the listings currently on the market.
