Assistant
The assistant is a panel that sits over every page. It answers from the same rows the dashboard renders, so an answer and a block never disagree.
Open the assistant
Select Assistant at the bottom-right of the screen. The panel opens over the current page and stays open while you move between Today and Kroll Connect. Select Close, or the same button, to put it away.
On a narrow screen the panel takes the width of the window; on a desktop it sits in a card at the bottom-right.
Ask a question
Type in the box and press Enter. Shift+Enter adds a line without sending. When the panel is empty it offers a few suggested questions; select one to send it straight away.
The assistant looks at the workspace before it answers. While it works, a short line names what it is checking — the schedule, the pipeline, projects, clients or connections. The answer then streams into the panel a few words at a time.
Select Stop while an answer is arriving to end it. The part already on screen stays.
What it can answer
- What is on the schedule today, and what needs you.
- Which listings are active, their stage, price and next step.
- How construction projects are progressing.
- Which clients have recent activity.
- The market figures shown on Today.
- Which services and chat channels are connected.
Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation. The panel keeps the thread and replays recent messages, so a short question like “and the ones under contract?” still makes sense.
Conversations
- One conversation is kept per browser, so the thread survives a reload.
- Start over in the panel header begins a new conversation and clears the panel. The previous conversation is no longer shown.
- A conversation started from Telegram or WhatsApp uses the same transcript and the same tools.
What it does not do
- It does not change records. It cannot edit a listing, move a project, create a task or update a client. If a change is needed, make it in the dashboard or in the service that owns the record.
- It does not send mail, create calendar events, upload files or send envelopes.
- It does not read legal case material. Case documents, transcripts and the case database are outside this workspace.
- It does not know things from outside the workspace. Answers come from the rows on the dashboard and from connection status.
Sending a message to a chat
When outbound messaging has been enabled for the workspace, the assistant can send a message to a linked chat channel. It asks you to confirm the text first. Every send writes an approval record and an audit event before the message leaves the workspace.
If the workspace has not enabled outbound messaging, the assistant says so rather than sending.
Setup required
Setup required in the panel means the workspace has no model endpoint configured. It is not a sign-in problem and nothing is wrong with your account. Ask the workspace administrator to finish the assistant configuration, then reload the page.
Privacy
Every answer is stored with the conversation so the thread can reopen and a chat channel can carry the same context. The assistant reads connection metadata and dashboard rows only; it never receives provider tokens and never reads another workspace. See Data and privacy.
