Today
Today is the first block on the dashboard and the anchor at /#today.
It sets the tone for the day before you read anything else.
Greeting and headline
The greeting follows the time of day in the workspace time zone, and the headline summarises what the day holds. Both change as the day moves on, and neither needs to be edited by hand.
To the right of the headline you see Updated … — how long ago this block last refreshed — and a reminder of what feeds it: listings, projects and calendar.
Portfolio totals
The four cells under the headline are the portfolio summary. They are the numbers you quote in a morning call: active listings, work in progress and the money attached to each. Each cell carries a short caption explaining what it counts, so the same figure is never read two ways.
If a total looks stale, check the Updated label first. A block that failed to refresh keeps its last values and shows Retry.
Market
The market block sits at the bottom-right of the page and shows the local readings you watch — the caption above the list names the area and the period. It is read-only: nothing here can be edited from the dashboard.
What Today is not
- It is not a to-do list. Tasks live in Needs you, on the schedule block.
- It does not edit records. Selecting a row never contacts a client.
- It does not answer questions. Open the assistant for that.
